Chicken thighs are the new chicken breast! Seriously, this is our family's favorite cut, our customers ask for them first at market, and thighs are consistently the first cut to sell out (besides liver). Dark meat is in high demand, and for deliciously good reasons.
When we do sell out, check out our leg quarters (which include the thigh) or drumsticks as two solid alternatives.
Our chickens live on pasture 24-hours every day and we move them to fresh grass and bugs daily, or even twice daily, depending on how big they are. We also give them a custom-mixed, organic (non-GMO), soy-free chicken feed. This is not your standard grocery store chicken, and you can taste - and love - the difference!
